Reminding My Husband to Buy Mothersday Flowers
After my baby was born, I was so excited about mother’s day and, since my son was only three months old, it was up to my extremely forgetful husband to buy me mothersday flowers and spoil me with breakfast in bed. On the Sunday morning, I woke up only to find my husband snoring away, so I went, made myself a cup of coffee, and got back into bed. When he eventually woke up I could see that, unless I tell him, this day was just going to go buy like any other day. Eventually I did remind him what day it was and he felt so bad for remembering. He went out to the store immediately but could not find any mothersday flowers so instead he bought me a huge box of chocolates. For the rest of the day he took care of the baby, which was the biggest gift ever.
